Sara's POV

I sighed as I skipped another stone across the pond. Somehow the way the pebble skimmed on top of the water made me smile. I watched the rock send ripples through the surface before sinking down to the muddy bottom. I bent down to grab another when I was interrupted as I heard myself yawn. It must have been at least two in the morning, and that was when I realized just how tired I was. As I got back up and started to walk through the park, I began to think of all the crazy things that were happening. There have been reports and sightings from all over the world about these crazy giant robots that where appearing and disappearing just like that. Lots of people on tv were saying that everyone should stay away from them 'cause they don't want anybody to get hurt. But I'm not everyone and I'm not anybody, I'm just so curious, that I can't stand not meeting at least one. Besides, I've got a reason, a secret actually, and I think that those robots and I have more in common than anyone might ever think.

I paused for a minute as I came to a wall on the far side of the park. Without a second glance I started to climb, when I reached the top of the wall I just jumped down and continued walking. As I caught sight of the woods I started to jog. Even at night, the woods still looked beautiful, when I was younger, I used to think that the trees were scary, but I got over it. It was so quiet, so serene… I stopped. I walked up to an enormous old oak tree, and stroked the bark lovingly. I started to climb once more; my hands had memorized every notch, every handhold, and every branch. I looked down at the ground below, watching the fallen leaves with admiration. I loved these woods with all my heart, oh well, home is where the heart is.
