Tinypaw was sent flying, her ginger fur getting stained with grass as she skidded on the rough Earth, dirt spilling into her mouth. She spat, trying to get the now-mud out of her mouth. Tinypaw groaned, blowing her tail off of her nose and straightening up. She blinked as her tan friend skidded to a halt in front of her, pausing for a breath.
"Hey Cobrapaw," Tiny grinned at him, noticing Snagglepaw on Cobra's back. She cringed as the ruddish-brown tom started to chortle.
"I'd come say an insult to yer face but I'm afraid I'd go BLIND because yer so UGLY!" Snagglepaw screamed, his one long fang poking at his muzzle.
Cobrapaw sighed, "Hey Tinypaw. Trying to sneak into the crowd of she-kits?" He glared over her shoulder, his unusual slitted yes piercing the group.
Tinypaw shrugged, licking a white paw and then her white chest, "I guess..." Snagglepaw turned around, hopping off of Cobrapaw's back.
"Tigerpaw and Snowpaw can go jump into the river," he groaned, glancing up at Cobrapaw, who shrugged. Tinypaw twitched her whiskers and started to perk her ears up and turn them towards the group of she-cats.
"I was at the boarder today, and I saw this two-leg tunnel," a she-cat apprentice whispered, her dark grey paws shifting uneasily.
"You mean the one that gross rogue lives in?" another whispered, moving closer towards her grey friend.
"Ew, that rogue?" Leopardpaw whispered, "I heard that she takes prey and herbs in exchange for a story..." The three apprentices shuffled away from the hallow of a training ground towards camp, giggling as Snowpaw and Tigerpaw approached.
Tinypaw sniffed, kicking dust up, "Wolfpaw, Lopardpaw, and Vixenpaw are jerks... Some poor old loner trying to survive being considered filth..."
Cobrapaw shrugged, leaning on Snagglepaw, "Well, that's the normal behavior with them. Act like they know everything 'bout everyone."
Tinypaw looked away, her green gaze searching the trees, "Where did Dovepelt go?" She forced herself to sound concerned, but Dovepelt was probably off giggling and flirting with Tinypaw's father... Again.
"Aye, sheh's prolly' gon off with yer' dad." Snagglepaw suggested, flicking his whiskers. Tinypaw shifted her gaze to her friends, eyes glazed over with tears, "He shouldn't be with her though! Badgerstar's loyalty should be to..." Tinypaw sniffed, "To ThunderClan. Not some mouse-brained oaf!"
Cobrapaw sighed, inching towards Tinypaw and embraced her, letting his tail curl around them, "Shh, Tiny, you know you don't mean that. You like Dovepelt, and I'm pretty sure you mean to you right?"
Snagglepaw groaned, "Ayy, get off 'er. The lady knows wa' she means." Snagglepaw shoved Cobrapaw away from Tinypaw.
Cobrapaw huffed, "Fine then," He glanced at Tinypaw who had gone silent once again. He sniffed, "We should probably get back to camp..."
Tinypaw nodded, trudging back. Snagglepaw and Cobrapaw not too far behind.
