There was once a little boy named Kiba Inuzuka who was the youngest of two children. His mother, father and sister all had work to do one day and he did not want to have a babysitter so he begged them to let him stay alone which they were reluctant to do, even thought he was already ten years old.

One day they all had something to do and could find no one to come and take care of him so they told him to make sure all of the windows were closed and locked and not to answer the door. Once they had left for the day Kiba and his dog Akamaru were having fun during the day despite the slightly bad feeling that they had.

When dinner time came around no one was going to be home so he ate dinner and watched the TV for a little while but it was getting windy so he decided to go to bed early so he went around making sure all of the windows and doors were locked until there was only one window left...the one in the basement.

He slowly went downstairs and checked the window and closed it but it would not lock so instead he locked the door to the basement and then went upstairs to go to bed with his faithful dog at the side of the bed.

About two hours later Kiba woke up when he heard a loud dripping sound and he was slightly scared so he put his hand down and allowed Akamaru to give it a lick so he could be sure that he was not alone.

Two hours later at four in the morning woke up for the same reason and thought he had left the water on downstairs but he did not want to get out of bed so again he put his hand down to the side of the bed and let his dog lick his hand to be sure he was still there.

Kiba woke up again at five minutes to seven and saw that the sun was up and he had not woken up again so he yawned and went into the bathroom to wash up for the day. But when he turned on the light he screamed. Hanging by his entrails was his dog Akamaru and he had been completely skinned so he ran into the room where his dog had been sleeping and ran when he read a note written in blood

'Human beings can lick people too little darling.'
