"I can't believe I let you talk me into this!" Harry shouted as he looked over the edge of the precipice. He could barely hear himself over the sound of the rushing water as it flowed past his ankles and over the rocks to never been seen again.

Ginny laughed and shoved him, unsettling him as his soles slipped on the smooth rocks underfoot. He backed away from the edge slowly, using the line of small, half-submerged boulders for footing. Ginny shouted, "You fly at 70mph on the thin piece of wood but you can't do this?"

Harry frowned and gestured with his hands at the precipice as he said, "With a broom, I'm in control. This is freefalling, Gin. I could die."

Ginny groaned and hopped over to him, grabbing his elbow and tugging him back into the shallow water. "Come on, Harry," she pleaded. "Do this with me. I've always wanted to do this and I want you to share this first with me. It's supposed to be such an adrenaline rush."

"You're an adrenaline junkie, you spitfire," he teased playfully while trying to pull from her grasp. But that was easier said than done as she held onto him firmly. He pleaded, "Please Ginny, can't we do something safer? Like exploding snap?"

Ginny shook her head and began grabbed his hand tightly. "No, we're doing this," she said finally, with a determined look in her eyes.

Harry still looked nervous and uncomfortable. Ginny frowned and then turned him fully to her. "Harry, do you trust me?" she asked softly.

He leaned in a gave her a soft peck on her lips, "You know I do, Gin."

"Then let's do this!" she shouted, and before Harry had any idea what was going on, she took off at a run towards the edge, splashing through the water, Harry's hand still in hers. She jumped off the edge, her dead weight pulling Harry down with her. All Harry heard was the thundering water as he fell past, he felt the spray on his face, cooling and refreshing but Harry was too freaked to be calmed by it. Harry screamed like a little girl and if he wasn't scared out his mind, he would have probably been embarrassed. But Ginny was just laughing her head off on the way down.

They entered the water feet first with a quiet splash, dropping deep down into the pool below. The water weighed heavily on his shoulders and Harry was happy he happened to have closed his mouth before the impact. He saw a flash of red and pale slender legs push off to the right and he followed behind them.

The pair broke the surface of the water with a gasp. Ginny was smiling, her hair plastered to her scalp, the ends waving in the water around her as she moved her arms. She was laughing and though Harry's heart was still beating wildly, he couldn't help joining her. His own hair was laying flat on his forehead and he took a few more deep, calming breaths as he looked around him. It was a beautiful place really: the lush green plants that surrounded the pool of turquoise water and the warm sun shining through the foliage, casting rainbows as the light passed through the spraying water. Gorgeous.

Ginny laughed again and shouted, "So it wasn't that bad, was it?"

He looked up to where they just were, at the top of the 30 foot waterfall. It had looked so much higher from above, and it was still pretty high from before, but it didn't feel that high during the fall and it was over in less than a few exciting seconds. But he couldn't deny the adrenaline rush and the giddy feeling coursing through his veins.

He smiled at her and gave her quick peck on the lips. "Let's go again!"
