Morning Wood
by: Genesis Crisis
Description: Toshi wakes up in the arms of Kobo. Set after their fight with the akki and the Myojin of Infinite Rage and before they run into Michiko and co.
Toshi woke.
Right in the arms of his sleeping companion, Kobo. The oversized, bald monk must've gotten cold during the night and curled up against Toshi for warmth. As it was, Kobo's large hand was wrapped snugly around him.
Toshi tried lifting the arm, but the grasp got tighter. Like a kid with a security blanket, he mused.
"Oi! Kobo." Toshi tried rousing the youth, nudging him none too gently.
"Huuuuaaa?" Kobo yawned.
Toshi almost gagged on the stench. "Get up, ugly. This whole male bonding thing has been fun and all, but right now you're spooning me. Get off."
Kobo rubbed his good eye, looked down and sighed. Kobo lifted up his arm, letting the ochimusha crawl out from under him. "Used to sleep with Master Hidetsugu like this. Old habits die hard, don't they, oath-brother?"
"This better not become a habit."
"As you say, oath-brother. Anything you say." And with that, Kobo rolled onto his side, returning back to the world of dreams.
