You were like an ice blue rose
Like an eternally frozen flower
All my thoughts are of regret
Right now, in my final hour
I'm fading from existence
But I can only think of you
The fact I made you hate me
Is the thing I so rue
The only thing I can do
As I fade from this place
Is try my damnedest
To remember your face
I'm sorry that I killed you
I'm sorry that you're dead
I'm sorry the last thing you felt
Was a dagger in your head
It made such perfect sense
But the sense was lack
Even as I fade away
I want to take it back
You were my meadow
That I watched over with care
But now it's my fault
That you've slipped away like air
I'd take it all back
I'd have you to live again
Then you could be breathing
I could redeem this sin
A world without you
Is not worth it at all
I guess that's what lead to this
The curtain's final fall
Life was like a theatre
I realize that now
If we were both alive
This is when we'd bow
But no, because you're dead
