Okay I had to do a oneshot based on 10x06 cause it was just perfectly heart breaking. so what happened once Will got home.

Losing someone is never easy.

Looking down JJ saw Henry had fallen asleep, kissing his forehead. she stayed sat in the chair, he son tightly in her hold. wiping her eyes, JJ looked towards the window seeing the full moon in the sky.

Hearing the front door open, JJ looked at Will seeing the confusion on his face as he walked into the living room.

"He couldn't sleep?"

JJ shook her head. "He wanted another story"

"You okay?" Will asked noticing his wife had been crying

"I'm fine, can you put him to bed?"

Will nodded, taking Henry out of JJ's hands he through Henry over his shoulder carrying across the hall to his room.

Standing up, JJ walked out the back garden, opening the door she looked up to moonlit sky. "I miss you Roz"

"She misses you too"

Turning her head, JJ looked at Will right behind her. "How do you know that?"

"Cause your her little sister and she loved you"

JJ sighed, leaning her body onto his. "How do we tell him?"

"We don't" he paused. "For now, we just answer questions that we can until we know he will understand it."

"How is Henry ever going to understand it, if I can't even understand it?"

Will sighed, kissing her head. "Sometimes we never get the answers we want however much we want them"

"I miss her"

"I know, but someone very sweet once told me, one day you will remember them and mourn them ."

"It's time to move forward"

"It will drive you crazy, trying to figure it out"

"I've spent half my life looking for answers"

"JJ..."

"Part of me doesn't want to know, but the little eleven year girl who find her sister dead wants the answer"

"Someone day you will"

JJ sighed, closing the door, she followed Will into the living room. pouring another glass of wine, Will sat down at the dining table, JJ sitting in his lap.

"What's these?"

"Oh my mom was showing Henry"

Will smiled, looking through the pile.

"You were adorable"

JJ blushed. "Easy now Lamontagne"

Will smiled kissing her neck. "So how was your case?"

JJ laughed to herself. "Interesting lets just say Henry wont be hearing any fairy tale stories anytime soon"

Will laughed. "Should I ask?"

"Just don't ask Spence about fairy tales"

"I'll add it to the list"

JJ let out a yawn. "I think its bedtime"

Getting up, JJ pulled Will up dragging him towards the bedroom, stopping Will pulled JJ towards him. "Go get changed I'll turn everything off"

JJ smiled kissing him. "I love you"

"I love you" Will said kissing her back.

Clearing off the wine and turning off the lights Will walked into the bedroom unbuttoning his shirt, he smiled seeing JJ playing with the box next to her bed.

"You havent warn it in a while"

JJ nodded, running her fingers across the necklace. "I don't want to lose it"

"It's safe here"

Watching Will changed, JJ climbed under the covers. "How was my mum the last few days?"

"She was upset about the fight ya both have" Will said climbing into bed.

"I guess we both can be stubborn"

"Yeah, I know where ya get it from" Will said wrapping his arm around her.

JJ smiled. "I don't know what I would do without you."

"Ya would be sitting at ya desk going through endless amount of files."

JJ hit him in the chest. "You know what I mean."

"Everyone loses people we love, and we find new people to love, we've both helped each other through that. we've both lost parents but I will never know how it feels to lose a sibling and I know that it still hurts you everyday but sometimes we just have to deal with the pain"

"you always say the right things"

Kissing her head Will turned off the lamp. "Get some sleep"

"I love you"
