Manny sat on a chair by herself. Craig watched her with admiration. She was eating a piece of Spike and Snake's wedding cake. She chewed her food with such reservation and her posture on the chair was so graceful. He slowly made he way over to her.
"Hey, Manny." He greeted her. He extended his hand for hers. "Do you want to dance with me?"
"Funny, Craig. I like this cake better than I do you right now." Manny gave him a sassy smile and slapped away his hand. "Why don't you just go ask Ashley or something?"
"She's not here. Ashley's not into weddings." Craig shrugged.
Manny was almost shocked. How could she not be into weddings? They were so romantic and always full love. Even the relationship ended up not working out the wedding would always be memorable. Weddings have Manny such hope for her future love. She didn't care if the wedding didn't go exactly as planned, just as long as she had the man she loved at her side ready to say, "I do."
"It's just one dance, Manny. I'm not saying that I'm in love with you. A dance with no expectations." Craig said.
"I don't want to, okay? Get it through that thick skull of yours. Since you broke my heart, I hate you." Manny rolled her eyes.
"Well, if you weren't suck a kid maybe I wouldn't have had to break your heart!" he fired back.
"Gee, Craig. That makes me so much better. You always know what to say." Manny said, sarcastically.
"One dance and then I'll leave you alone." Craig promised. "Photographer's honor."
"Tempting." Manny took a bite of her piece of cake. She dropped her fork and picked up her paper plate. She smashed it in his hands and smirked. Manny's evil smirk excited Craig's…er…imagination. He got a napkin and wiped it off. "Now I'll dance with you."
