Finch, needless to say… wasn't exactly having the best night. It was Halloween and kids all around New York were causing trouble. No new numbers had come up, and Reese was on his way to the library. Halloween wasn't Finch's favorite time of year. It annoyed him how much trouble all the teens caused! He didn't dare send Reese after them, there were WAY to many places to be at once, and there was only one John Reese. So, Finch simply told Reese as long as nothing got worse than TP'ing people's houses and pulling semi-dangerous pranks, than Reese should not need to do anything. So, while waiting, he sat in his chair watching kids do the usual Halloween pranks.

` Finch heard the door open and shut. "Welcome back Mr. Reese." Finch said, his usual greeting. Silence. "Mr. Reese?!" Finch said, a bit more panic in his words. No reply. "John?!" Finch yelled. Not a sound. Now Finch was getting scared. He got up from his seat and cautiously limped down the hallway. He was just about to turn the corner when something leaped at from the other side. "GRRRR!" Came a deep growl. "AHHHHHHHH!" Finch screamed and flattened himself against the wall.

There was a chuckle from the creature, and it took a few seconds for Finch to realize that it was his boyfriend behind a werewolf mask. John Reese. John Freaking Reese. Reese took the mask and burst into laughter. "You should have seen your face!" Finch got himself together and walked over to Reese.

"You are such a jerk!" Finch yelled, giving Reese a punch to the shoulder. "Happy Halloween Finch!" Reese said enthusiastically. "I am going to get you back!" Finch said. "Like to see you try!" Reese replied. With a huff, Finch went back over to his chair and sat down.

"Am I off now, bosssssss?" Reese asked, being the usual pest to Finch. "Yes. You are Mr. Reese." Finch said with annoyance. "Wow… I can't believe Bear was able to sleep through your girly scream." Reese harassed. Finch just moaned and gave Reese the leave-now-or-I-slap-you face. Reese just broke into laughter. Bear woke up. "Sorry Bear, I know he is loud." Finch got up and started walking over to Bear.

Bear got up just as Reese was walking over to Finch to hug him, and the three of them sadly were on a collision course. It worked almost like dominos… but with humans, plus a dog. (This was really funny to picture, to me that is!)

Bear walked right between Finch and Reese. Reese hit Bear's right side. Bear fell onto Finch's legs, knocking Finch to the ground with Bear on top of him. Reese tripped over both his dog and his boyfriends legs and landed on both of them. Ow's and howls came from the mess of fur and suits.

After a minute, Finch spoke first. "John, I think you are suffocating your dog…" Finch trailed off. "AH! Bear?!" Reese got off his dog and Bear took off down the hall. "Well… I guess he is still breathing." Reese chuckled, looking down to see he was completely on top of Finch. " I don't think I will be for long though if you don't get of me!" Finch yelled. "Oh… sorry." Reese replied as he removed himself from Finch. "I will see you tomorrow. Goodnight, John." Finch whispered in Reese's ear while giving him a kiss on the neck. "Night, Harold."

Reese walked in the next morning and Finch met him in the middle of the hall. "Morning, Finch." Reese happily chirped as he went to move around Finch. Finch blocked his every move, keeping Reese still. "Don't you ever look up John?" Finch asked smugly. Reese had a puzzled face that changed to an amused one as he looked up. There was mistletoe. "Little early hun?" Reese asked is boyfriend. "I told you I was going to get you back." Finch answered. "Bear," Reese continued, "close your eyes and no peeking." Bear lowered his head and coved it with his paws. "Reese and Finch leaned in and kissed, a very long kiss.
