Two sparklings sat side by side on a hill. The smaller of the two had his head resting in the lap of the larger, who was sticking his tongue out and making faces.

Blue optics gazed out across city he had just saved. The war had been won. The battle was over. But for Optimus Prime, it would never end. As he thought on all he had lost, a single streak of blue gently cascaded down his cheek.
