The sky was dark as Arashi watched the terrapins battle against his fellow Foot Ninjas. One by one, his companions fell until only he and five others were left.
Blue was furiously slashing as he backed one of the ninja closer and closer to the edge, the Foot Ninja attempting to block his blows.
Red blocked his two opponents with crossed sais, the two ninjas were forcing their weight down upon their swords. Red's muscles tightened as he pushed their swords away from him. He growled as they staggered back, lunging at them, his eyes glowing maniacally.
Purple traded blows with a bo staff wielding Foot who was evenly matched with the turtle.
Finally, his gaze found Orange, who had just sent a ninja scrawling back against the wall, a sickening thud issued and Arashi winced. That ninja, a relatively new addition to their group, would no doubt be in immense pain when he awoke. Orange looked around, seeing if any of his brothers needed him, before his eyes met Arashi's. He grinned, his nunchuks expertly spinning as he advanced towards Arashi. Arashi drew his sword and waited for the turtle to attack.
Orange moved in a flash, wrapping the chain of his nunchuk around Arashi's ninjakin. With a mighty tug, he sent the sword flying. As he was distracted, Arashi pounced, kicking the turtle's side. A nunchuk lashed out, nearly connecting with Arashi's knee before Arashi leaped back. He spied his sword, laying not 10 feet away, and dodged another of Orange's nunchuks. Diving underneath Orange's legs, he slid past him until he reached the sword, grasping its handle in his gloved hand. Surging upwards, he caught the chain of the nunchuk above his blade, dislodging the weapon from Orange's hand. Orange was still grinning, but his eyes were now narrowed in concentration.
"You're pretty good." The voice startled him; it was that of a teenager, someone much younger than his own 25 years. But he ignored it, slashing at the turtle's arm. The sword was again wretched from his grasp as the turtle kicked his wrists. "But not good enough." With that the turtle kicked his midsection, knocking the wind out of Arashi. With another kick, Arashi was falling, landing on a Foot Ninja who had been knocked out. Instinctly, Arashi closed his eyes and allowed his body to go limp. Orange stopped, examining him from a distance as if assuring himself that Arashi was out. As the terrapin walked away, Arashi took the sword from his fallen companion, rising.
"You're not too bad yourself." He said, honorably alerting Orange of his presence. Orange spun, his nunchuks ready. But Arashi was too fast, dropping to the ground and knocking the legs out from under the turtle.
"Mikey!"
"Michelangelo!"
"NO!"
As Orange fell, his nunchuks flew from his hands, leaving him defenseless as Arashi stood over him, sword raised. "You are going to die today."
Orange's eyes widened, his face rid of the grin as he stared up at the deadly blade.
Suddenly, something struck his arm, knocking him away from Orange. Purple stood there, his bo staff gripped tightly in his hands. Orange was shakily standing up.
Purple's eyes met his own "Not Today." He said as he darted towards Arashi.
THWACK
The Bo painfully connected with Arashi's skull.
As Arashi fell, he heard Purple "Not if I can help it."
Unconsciousness claimed him as he landed on the hard pavement.
