Cloud of plastic snow
Swirls around you like gold foil-
I take a deep breath.
You glow like the sun
When you smile, my heart beats fast-
Just something I know.
We can go as friends,
You said, but right before that-
I felt like I could fly.
BETTY
She seems very nice
Like peach pie in the spring, but
I know you like cake.
If you don't love me,
Then why do you gaze at me
With warmth in your eyes?
Heat of Mexico
I am searching for someone-
And thought I saw you.
BETTY
Just the two of us
Tomorrow is our first date,
If nothing goes wrong.
HENRY
The wind in your hair
I don't want to leave you, or
This bittersweet kiss.
