New times!
Harry Potter who's now 35 years old is in his office at the Auror Department when his old friend Ron Weasley enter the room along with a younger man that Harry has never seen before.
"Ron, long time no see!" says Harry as he stand up and walk over to his friend and shakes his hand.
"I should come and see you more often, but there hasn't been time for it." says Ron.
"Who's this...?" says Harry as he look at the man next to Ron.
"Oh, sorry..." says Ron. "This is mr Duncan O'Malley. He wanted to become an Auror so I told him that the Head of the Auror Department is my friend."
"Wow! The famous Harry Potter!" says Duncan with a big smile. "This is a dream comin' true, man!"
"Please, mr O'Malley! I've had enough of crazy fans!" says Harry.
"Sorry, sir!" says Duncan.
"So, you would like to join the Auror Department...?" says Harry to Duncan.
"Yes, sir." says Duncan.
"If so I need to see that you've got a EE on your N.E.W.T's in Defence Against the Dark Arts, Potions, Charms and Transfiguration." says Harry.
"Here, sir." says Duncan as he hands over a few documents to Harry.
"Everything appear to be in order..." says Harry as he look through the documents.
"Thank you, sir. Does that mean I'm ready to begin my Auror-training?" says Duncan.
"No, I also need to make sure that your wand functions perfect." says Harry.
"Of course..." says Duncan as he pull out his wand.
"Let me look at it." says Harry.
Duncan hands his wand to Harry.
"Lumos!" says Harry in a loud clear voice as he hold Duncan's wand into the air, but instead of the wand lighting up it almost break in half.
"That's something I've seen before..." says Ron as he remember how his first wand once broke.
"Sorry, mr O'Malley..." says Harry. "This wand needs to be replaced."
"How? I've got no money." says Duncan in a sad voice.
"Use this one." says Harry as he pull out a wand from a metal box. The wand is short and made of hazel with a core of unicorn-hair.
"Thanks!" says Duncan.
"It probably won't work to perfection since you didn't win it yourself, but it's better than being a wandless man, for sure." says Harry.
"True!" says Duncan.
"Harry, would you like to join me and Hermione for dinner tonight at the Leaky Cauldron?" says Ron as he is about to leave.
"I'd love to, Ron! I'll meet you there at nine." says Harry.
"Okey, see you later!" says Ron as he walk away.
