Ode to Snape's noseinspired by Dementordelta's fanfic Rhyme + Reason

When it comes to describing Snape's nose,

There is a lot to say, I suppose;

As poetry is more effective than prose,

In this sonnet I shall try to enclose

The image and proportions of Snape's nose.

The size and hook deserve the sweetest odes;

The glowing comparison to a rose,

Observed by the daylight to open and close;

The same is seen by the class as Snape blows.

Inky pools do not rival that which they appose,

Instead enriching that splendiferous nose,

How he came about it, nobody knows.

So as I draw this poem to a close,

All shall marvel and worship at Snape's nose.

Heh! I read the fic that inspired this and thought 'what a great idea, I wonder if I could write a sonnet to Snape's nose?' So, here is the finished result, I apologise for all the cheesy rhymes - they just happened!
