July 8th

Am working like a house-elf in this miserable, rat-infested house to make it ready for the Dark Lord. Am now actually feeling sorry for our old house-elf, Dobby, that stupid Potter freed. Thank Merlin I don't have to iron my fingers for takling bad about Lord Voldything.

On the bright side, dad taught me how to make some great lemon-poppyseed muffins before he was sent off to Azkaban... the DL positively raves about them. All I need to worry about now is Snape getting jealous and poisoning me or something. But I've got a hidden stash of bezoars just in case... nicked them when Slughorn wasn't looking. Must remember to thank Potter for the idea sometime, before the DL gets him.

Uh-oh... muffins are about to scorch!

July 10th

Am in higher spirits-- have managed to sneak the ingredients for a Polyjuice Potion and a collapsi-cauldron into a batch of lemon-poppyseed muffins to send to dad, plus some of Snape's hairs (don't ask). With luck, he'll be able to pull a Crouch and get out of Azkaban... not that it would be very safe for him here, considering that he is currently very high on the DL's hit list, having got himself caught in the Ministry of Magic and all that... Oh well; even if he doesn't escape, Azkaban can't be all that bad, now that the dememtors are gone. Now must find a way to save mum. And avoud the DL, considering his obsession over teenage boys... (eeeks)

July 15th

Aaieeee! Was so naive 6th year! No wonder Snape kept wanting meetings with me! And here I was thinking he wanted in on the glory... Lord Voldything? Phooey! He's got enough on his mind with Potter still alive. Me, however? Hve barricaded myself into my room to avoid the ex-Potions Master, who keeps eyeing me (those black eyes give me the creeps).

Wonder what he and Potter were doind during those so-called "remedial potions" lessons... Doesn't bear thinking of...

Must bake more muffins. Maybe poison them and give them to Snape? Must think on this...
