I need my dolphin
Little cute 9 year old Ally Dawson and her parents are going on summer vacation to Vincent Bronze, a friend of Ally's dad who live in South Carolina.
The family is now in the car on the way. It's an hour since they crossed the Miami City border and Ally's been sleeping since.
Now she wakes up and look around her, searching for Dougie, the Dolphin, her favorite stuffed animal.
"Mommy, where's my dolphin?" says Ally, who sound weak and sad.
"Isn't he right there with you, girlie?" says Penny as she turn around and look towards the backseat of the car where Ally is.
"No, me can't find him..." says Ally, looking like she's gonna cry soon.
"Are you sure? I thought you took him with you." says Penny in a nice warm voice that mothers use when talking to their young daughter.
"Me want my Dougie!" says Ally as she begin to cry.
"Lester, I think we need to turn this car around and go back. Our daughter wants her stuffed dolphin." says Penny to her husband.
"Come on, darling! Not the dolphin again. It's always like this. Every time we go to visit one of my old college-friends, that damn toy get forgotten." says Lester, who is usually a very happy and laid back man, but not today. He's been looking forward to go see Vincent, cause it's been years since last time and that's why he's not happy about being forced to go back so Ally can get her stuffie.
"ME WANT MY DOUGIE!" screams a very upset Ally so high that both her parents need to cover their ears.
"Okay! Fine! We're goin' back to look for the dolphin..." mumbles Lester in a hard angry tone as he turn the car around and drive back to Miami.
An hour later they reach their house.
Lester stay in the car while Ally and Penny go up to Ally's bedroom to look for Dougie, the Dolphin.
When they enter the cute childish room there's no stuffed dolphin in sight.
Penny look under Ally's bed, in Ally's closet and behind Ally's couch, but no Dougie.
"Mommy, do you see my dolphin?" says Ally.
"No, not yet, sweetie. Let me keep lookin'..." says Penny. "He should be here somewhere."
Penny look in the box where Ally's other stuffies are.
She founds Bobby, the Bear and all the others, but not the one she's now looking for.
Dougie seems to be gone.
"I hope my dolphin is okay." says Ally. "He's very cute and he needs me and me needs him."
Suddenly some books fall down from the bookshelf...and there behind the books is something that make Ally happy, it's Dougie, the Dolphin!
"Yay! Dougie!" says a very happy Ally as she gently grab the beloved toy and hug him nice and tight.
"Okay, girlie...now you have your dolphin. Let's go, daddy's waiting for us." says Penny.
As they walk back to the car, Ally holds Dougie close to her chest.
"Did you girls find the dolphin?" says Lester as his wife and daughter get back into the car.
"Yeah, we did." says Penny.
"He's right here, daddy!" says Ally as she hold up Dougie so her father can see him.
"Okay, let's go!" says Lester, trying to sound a bit happy as he starts the car and they drive off once more.
"Awwww, Little Dougie! Ally's never gonna leave you again." says Ally in a low soft voice as she begin to slowly rub Dougie's soft fur. "Ally D will always love you!"
The End.
