Birthday present
I hope you guys like this one-shot. It's dedicated to my best friend, Tabbi, who loves the couple Neji and Tenten. Here it is!
" Where's Tenten?" Lee asked, getting real worried about Tenten, for she wasn't at practice, and it wasn't like her to be late. Neji just stood there, while Gai and Lee worried themselves sick about Tenten. " Sorry I'm late, guys. I had to run a quick erran for my...uh... neighbor. Yeah, she needed to be brought to the hospital. She was having a baby. What I miss?" Tenten asked, running up to Gai and Lee. For nearly five minutes Gai and Lee gave congratulated Tenetn for doing such a deed. But she wasn't lying. Tenten was walking home from doing something at the river, and she heard screaming from inside her neighbors house, and she was going into labor, so she got her to the hospital in five to six minutes. But Neji had his doubts until her cell phone rang, and it was the woman's husband, who's wife was good friends with Tenten. The man, who was crying his eyes out with joy, thanked Tenten hundreds of times, for his wife would of died if she hadn't been brought to the hospital immediatly. The man invited her to tea with him and his wife and new daughter. As soon as training was over, Neji snuck off, following Tenten home, then watched her go in her house, then come out with an easel, two paint brushes, a charcoal pencil, and oil pastol colors. He followed her all the way to a river, a beautiful river. ' Wait, I know this river. This place used to be polluted. Did she clean it up?' Neji thought. Then he saw Tenten set up a beautiful painting, almost fineshed. It had the river and several bushes, trees, and a rock in the middle of the river. It was drawn in charcoal, and half colored in paint. Tenten struggled to get it painted, but she kept on haveing to get a rag and erase it. Soon, he got out and walked over to Tenten. She didn't even notice Neji come out from behind her, but she was shocked when she felt Neji wrap his hands around hers and guide her hands over the easel. Soon, the picture was painted, and Tenten slowly turned around to see Neji, and he slowly bent down and kissed her. " Nice painting, Ten-chan." he said, and she just blushed. " I painted it for you, Neji-Kun. I was going to give it to you for your birthday, but I guess since you've already seen it, I guess you can take it home as an early birthday present." she said. " I'd rather have another kiss for a birthday present." Neji said, and kissed her again.
