A/N So I kind of got this idea while reading stockyparkerdog's 365 day challenge. It was relating May to fire and everything. I don't know where I'm going to go with this, but I hope you enjoy!
People normally compared her to a fire. Specifically when she was mad. Some say that she had an aura of a fire surrounding her, others say fire dances in her eyes, others also say the fire floats by her feet and stoked as she got angrier. No matter what the case, people always thought that she was related some way to it.
But there's always that one out of a million person.
The person that thinks about what really happens to a fire after a while. That person that knows that one way or another, the fire would burn out somehow.
He thought about that everyday, the fire ignites or combusts, but it needs a way to stop and start. He thought about how all the facts that alternatively pointed in his and her direction.
She was the fire, he was the one who burned her out and also ignited her fire.
This was all in the fact that he teased her, making the fire start,-her reaction always amused him- but before it got to the point where the fire just gave up on it's own or started to react in ways he did not want to see, he simply blew it out. And how? With roses that had two meanings.
No matter what it just keeps repeating, he finds a way to push her buttons, she reacts, he ends it. It was like an endless circle. A circle of fire he couldn't get passed, even if he found a way to indirectly say it. It was that wall that he could never get through because he was simply too scared.
Too scared of not getting through the circle he called her denseness. Even more so, he was more afraid of getting rejected.
But no matter how long it took, one day, he'd push those buttons the right way, and instead of getting that one reaction he liked, he would find the reaction he loved . And one day, he would blow out the fire he couldn't get passed to claim what was truly his.
A/N I didn't know where I was going with this drabble, and I'm not too proud of it. But it works well enough. Hope you enjoyed! Byeeee
