Someone Else's Paradise

"Never again," Sepheria said sullenly. "Never, ever again."

Belze raised an eyebrow. "What?"

"The next time any of our allies offers a vacation spot, we are not to accept it. Ever."

Belze stared out at the ocean. "You have to admit it's a beautiful place."

"…An island that somehow manages to grow the largest rose garden in the world and has a lifetime's supply of milk, books and cigarettes?"

Belze smiled. "A certain group has been quite liberal with their rewards." He put his hand on Sepheria's shoulder. "Relax. Even the leader of Chronos needs a break."

Sepheria sighed.
