TheFlock

Post "Fang".

Today is October 13th, 2010. I'm currently in Egypt. I've been traveling the world for awhile now, trying to find my own flock. It's pretty hard - harder than I thought, for sure. It's been awhile since I've seen Max and the others; about four months, actually. It kills me, but I did it for a reason and I'm sticking with it. Back to the mission: I'm trying to find a flock. Angel said, and so did Dr. Retard [Dr. Hans, for all you people who don't know.], that I was going to have to get my own flock; which meant that I had to leave my old flock. That's not necessarily the reason why I left, though.

Back to the main stuff: I am on a mission to find my own flock, which is part of a bigger mission to save the world.

It was around noon, so the sun was at its highest. I have been flying around for awhile, looking for any sign of a bird kid. No such luck, yet. It's harder than I thought, definitely. I left the flock in June, four months ago, and it was definitely the hardest thing that I've ever done; and probably ever will do. I talk to myself a lot. Some people might say that's weird or strange; but I'd like to see them live on their own, talking to no one, and not talk to themselves even once. Yeah, exactly, they wouldn't be able to. Max was cut out for this stuff, I'm not.

"Why am I even doing this?" I asked myself, shaking my head.

You're doing this because you have to, I told myself, you have to.

"There!" I heard a rough, non-human voice say. I looked around me, in defensive mode, and saw four Erasers. They looked pretty uncoordinated if you ask me.

The super-ugly Erasers came charging at me. The first one that got to me was easily put the ground; the second, even easier. Man, I thought to myself, it just keeps getting easier as they come.

In less than 10 seconds all of the Erasers were dead. These Erasers couldn't have been made by a scientist. I mean, come on! They were totally not like the other Erasers from before; skilled, tough, mean, and harder to kill. Jeez, what's up with these scientists?

Around 7pm

Well, it had been a rough day. Not because of the Erasers, but because I had no such luck of finding a bird kid.

I hunted down a place to stay that night. Aka, a run-down house; it still had electricity, though. It had a refrigerator, microwave, bed, shower, toilet, dining set, sinks, and all that good stuff. Oh, and they all worked, too.

"Hey."

I turned around so fast I almost got dizzy.

"Well, chill out there, Mr. Fang." There stood Dr. Know-It-All. My eyes narrowed and I said, "What do you want?"

He showed off his evil grin. "Oh, well, just wanted to see how you're doing, Fang. Is there something wrong with that?"

"Yes, there is. I don't want you near me. I'm doing fine, so stay the heck away from me."

He lost his evil grin and glared at me. "I'd watch how you talk to me, freak. I can have you killed in a second!"

Now it was my turn to grin. "Ditto, Dr. Retard."

He stepped toward me and looked as if he might actually try to fight me, but thought otherwise.

"I'll be back, Fang. And next time, blood will be shed."

"Yeah, your blood."

He glared at me and this big black SUV came into sight. It stopped right in front of me, almost hitting me, but I didn't move. Dr. Ding-Dong got in and the car drove off.

Thank goodness, I thought. I looked up at the sky and sighed. I opened my wings and flew up, up, and away.

I know, it's short, but I wanted to get it out there to see how people would like it. Send me a message or review or whatever you like, I just wanna see if you like/dislike/love/hate it!
