Dear Caroline, I've always known you were destined to great things, so here's a small contribution to your next great adventure with Alaric. I know Klaus sent you one too, but I don't know how "small" it is.
We made a bet, me and him: who's contribution would've been bigger between mine and his, so here's why my check is empty, so you can put the amount you need when you'll need it and doing that you can make sure mine is bigger than Klaus's. Please do that, or I will lose the bet.
About everything else... for as much I like to think I know everything about everything, the truth is I know nothing about anything.
The only thing I can tell you for sure is that I know very well the pain you're going through right now because I've been through the same in many different ways, and because of that I know it will pass.
I don't know how long it will take but rest assure one day you will wake and you will realize that the pain is gone and what's left are the most beautiful and brilliant memories of that love that consumed you.
So be patient and hold on...
Pain ends eventually.
And peace exists.
