DITCHING HOSPITAL
"Are you ok?" said Giles standing up and offering his hand to Buffy to help her up, she took it. Rather numb after all the hugging. "I feel a little bit strange"
"That usually happens," said Giles "After somebody becomes a vampire and they get a soul"
"Huh" asked Buffy "How do you know all this"
"In a book" said Giles
"Which is obvious?" said Xander
"Yeah I guess," murmured Buffy, suddenly there was a knock at the door, Buffy looked startled "Oh no it's the nurse, I'm supposed to be sick"
She scrambled into the bed; everyone sat by her side, immediately trying to act sad.
"Buffy are you ok" said the nurse "We heard banging"
Buffy's eyes widened "I'm fine"
"Well can I come in" said the nurse
"Sure" said Buffy, the door opened and the nurse came in "Ah your all here, well Buffy, it's time to do an operation you heart, that brutal stabbing, was quite close to your heart"
Everyone looked at Buffy apart from the nurse, Buffy felt she stiffen, she was a vampire now, she had no heart, and the minute they find that out. She looked anxiously at Angel, who clasped her hand looked worriedly into her eyes.
"Um ok" said Buffy worriedly
"I'm not going to lie to you" said the nurse
"Is that bad" said Buffy trying to sound worried
"You know how I was telling you that you had a 10 chance of living and 90 of dying" said the nurse
"Yeah" said Buffy
"Well that all depends on this operation, if the operation doesn't work, you will die" said the nurse "I'm sorry, but it's the law that I have to tell you"
"Oh ok" said Buffy sounding a bit small "When am I going to go to theatre"
"In about an hour, it will give you a chance to say goodbye to all of your friends"
She left, Buffy looked around worriedly "What shall I do"
"I say we ditch" said Xander "See open window, lets all dive"
"Yes" said Buffy hurriedly "Let's all dive"
Xander did the thumbs up, and opened the window "Whose going to dive first"
"I will" said Angel, he leapt from the window, and landed sprawled on the grass "Next one" he shouted, Buffy leapt through the window and landed on top of Angel, they both stared down at each other and then rolled over to let Xander, Willow and Giles to come down. Willow and Xander did it with ease, but Giles was a bit uneasy "I'm over 50, I could break my back"
"Giles we're at a hospital" said Xander
"Hey you know what" said Buffy "You jump and me and Angel will catch you, I mean we can't get killed like that"
Giles nodded, he leapt through the window and landed in Buffy and Angel's arms.
"Ok" said Angel "It's nearly light up, so Buffy and I had better go to my mansion"
"Ok" said Buffy "Let's go, get packed for a journey"
