I do not own SNK. If I did I'll be rich. And Petra wouldn't die. And Mikasa would have raped Eren already.

(I TRIED TO MAKE IT ANGSTY BUT IT'S QUITE HARD SOZZZZ)

And it's kind of in a different universe thingy, still Titan slaying, but some things happen in this universe and some things dont.

Summary: He tries to stop her from breaking - LITERALLY.

"L-Levi-heichou! Please, don't do it! I know you had to go through alot of pain and hurt, but I'm sure she had her reasons! We've been in the same squad, and even though it wasn't a very long time, but I know she isn't that evil. Someone must have forced her. So please, hei-"

"Arlert, calm down. It's not my choice. It's the Commander's. So I'm afraid I can't go against orders." The raven-haired man shot the blonde a piercing glance. His eyes didnt reveal much, but he knew. He knew the resentment he had towards her. Armin couldn't blame him though. But this - he had to stop him. He had to stop HER from breaking. He had so many things to ask her. He couldn't just let her go like this.

"Heichou, please-"

"Arlert, shut up." Levi gripped the hammer. Arlert stared at it, Hanji's latest invention that would break the crystalline material that was protecting her. It took Hanji a couple of months to craft it, but it worked out well. They had to credit the wall Titans for "aiding" them in this research though. It would break the crystalline material for sure, but no one knew what would happen to anything inside.

Levi raised his arm.

As the hammer collided with the crystalline structure encasing Annie, Armin lost control of his senses. He couldn't see clearly the scene that unfolded before his eyes. He couldn't hear the shattering of the crystal. He couldn't feel the crystal shards that were cutting him from the hammer's impact.

"Arlert, your eyes!" The corporal shouted.

Armin shielded his eyes from the dancing crystals heading towards him.

When it all seemed to be over, he slowly lowered his hand. Her body - it was still there.

"Annie..." He walked over to her slowly.

Something was missing.

He rested his hand on her eyes and slowly brought her eyelids up.

They were gone.

He stared right back at two gaping holes. No more sapphire blue eyes. Just two black holes facing his eyes.

He couldn't say anything. He felt his stomach churn, his hands growing colder. He knelt close to her, his face buried in her hair. Soft sobs evolved into louder howls. He lost control of his own emotions. He knew it, but he couldn't help. A little part of him was waiting for her to regenerate. The steam didnt appear though.

He wouldn't be able to talk to her anymore.

Fight with her.

Laughing at her cold remarks.

Attempt to warm up to her.

He wouldn't be able to melt her ice forged facade that she set up around herself.

That was the day Armin truly felt sadness.

He cried.
