The Cameron effect - Part III

Wilson watched his friend, he was astounded, he looked from House to the girl and from the girl to House.

Was it something she said, maybe, was it something she did, could be, was it something she had had to put up with all through the interview, more than likely, or was it her good looks……….hhmmmmm.

But was that, was that………………….. chemistry?

He had known House through the Stacey years of course and while they sparked, they never well SPARKED like this.

He was seriously concerned, ha ha ha!

She got the job of course, who could blame House, Wilson liked Cameron, she was a likeable girl, instantly. Another word, er, nice, yes nice that was it.

She liked House, Wilson could tell, when they got going, when they 'debated' it was quite amusing, they took it both so, so personally.

Sometimes Cameron won, sometimes House, mind you when you debated with House how could you not take it personally, he usually MADE it so!

No, there was a change in his friend, Wilson had even commented on it, all that niceness, House had scoffed at the notion, but had given a face, what was that face….

'Oh boy, Oh boy you're in trouble'

And when she had left, he had never known House to go to any length over anyone, if it didn't suit his purpose, but to go to her apartment to ask her repeatedly to come back.

Well he supposed it did suit his purpose, that of the complete torture of those three and not wanting any change, none, nothing, no!

And she came back, oh she had him, playing his own game, Wilson thought it was brilliant that Cameron's return had a 'condition'.

Although the more he thought about that 'condition' the more he worried about his friend.

He talked to her about it, surprised her even and they had gone, gone out?

He didn't get much out of House, but he could surmise how it actually went.

They both seemed to move on, get down to business, but still he watched, even as Stacey came and went, his own life falling apart.

Cameron having to deal with Her own mortality, the HIV scare had shook Wilson, he had of course told her his door was open, but she went and slept with Chase, Chase of all people, random. Still suppose that's what you get from taking drugs kids.

It had surprised House, but Wilson was surprised that it didn't seem to effect him more. He shrugged it off, even when Foreman did the dirty with the article. Why would House want utter chaos, why would he want his team in tatters…. All because of Stacey?

House was still an ass, why had he ever thought the idea of living with him would be a good one, in fact, the more he thought about it, at some points it had become a bit like watching General Hospital the real world.

Giggling, he was bemused about Cuddy's request, but he had gone to dinner and House had had a field day. They had all been through a rough patch, Foreman's illness, Cameron's involvement in that had been a little more than House would of liked. But she had stood up to him well, Wilson admired her tenacity.

And then he had been shot, Cuddy had called Wilson, taking it all in as he listened to Lisa's strained tones down the phone.

It took a while for him to compose himself, then he sped like a missile down to the ER, he saw Cameron, with Houses blood on her, he saw Foreman he saw Chase.

Wilson watched his friend.
