She misses it sometimes. She misses her family gathering together. She misses the faith that held a small congregation together when its older members were dropping like flies. She misses the feel of God's hand on her life, sparking belief she and her family would always be safe.
So on Easter night, when Buffy arrives with a cross around her neck, she can't help looking at the blonde Slayer with a growl. "You actually believe in that stuff?"
Blue eyes meet brown orbs in a silent challenge. "Yeah."
Faith stakes a Vampire without further comment. She wishes she still did.
