Sugar Motta walks into the choir room. It's not time for glee club yet, but sugar just wants to get out of class. Rory Flanagan is in her English class.

Rory just broke up with her a few hours ago. It was in the morning by her locker. The same locker Will Schuester told her she wasn't good enough to be in the glee club. She's starting to hate her locker.

She sits down on top of the piano, and looks at Brad. He's the piano man for the glee club. He's always in here practicing and waiting for the kids.

Sugar has always liked Brad. He is pretty hot. Well, in Sugar's opinion.

"Hey, Hottie," Sugar greets.

She smiles at Brad, he smiles back. Sugar has noticed that he doesn't talk a lot.

"Brad, can I tell you something?"

She leans over and starts moving her fingers across some of the keys. The sound vibrates through the air. Music. Sugar looks up to see Brad nodding. Then he picks up her hand and sets it back in her lap.

"Rory dumped me," She admits, sighing.

She rolls her eyes at how sad she sounds. Brad looks confused, so Sugar continues on with her story.

"I don't understand what I did. Rory said he's in love, but not with me. He's not even in love with someone who has a vagina!"

Sugar throws her arms up in the air. Usually when people get dumped the cried, but to sugar that just seems silly.

"He likes Sam Evans. The one who looks like Justin Bieber, but blonde."

Brad gives her a sympathetic look, but remains silent. Sugar stays quiet for a while as well. She stares off into space, lost in thought.

"Do you think I should have chosen Artie on Valentine's Day?" She asks him, her voice not above a whisper.

Brad pats her leg and nods. Sugar snaps her fingers soon after.

"OF COURSE!"

Sugar jumps off the piano.

"But how do I –

Sugar stops when she sees Artie rolling in the room. Her eyes light up as she runs to meet him halfway.

"Artie!" She begins hopping in his chair, "Artie, Rory dumped me for Sam, please be my boyfriend!"

Sugar usually doesn't beg, but she needs a boyfriend. She doesn't like being lonely. Sugar also realizes maybe she should slow down. She's being way to straight forward, even for her. She didn't even really like Rory, not the way she likes Artie.

Artie tried to steal her heat when he sand on Valentine's Day, but Rory just sang about how he loved all the glee club. He should have sang a song just for Sugar. Sugar notices that Artie looks a little confused, terrified even.

"I'm sooo sorry Artie, I promise I'll be a good girlfriend."

Sugar closes her eyes and rests her head on Arties shoulder, nuzzling her nose against his neck. Artie still hasn't moved. He looks down at Sugar, then at Brad. Brad is smiling at Artie and nodding, encouraging him to go for it.

Artie looks back to Sugar. Her eyes are still closed. She squeezes them tighter with worry.

"You promise?"

Sugar's eyes snap open and she lifts her head so she can look him in the eye.

"You won't leave me for any guy, or girl?"

"Of course not, Artie! I really like you! Why would you think I'd leave you for someone else?"

Artie sighs. He looks down, to embarrassed to look her in the eyes.

"Sugar, every girl I've dated or liked ends up leaving me for someone else. Or staying mad and me and then going off with someone else. I don't wan that to happen again."

"Well, that won't happen unless Taylor Lautner shows up at my doorstep." She tells him, pecking him on the lips.

"Okay, promise for sure?"

"Promise for absolute sure."

Artie kisses her then, deeper than before. Finally, Artie thinks, a promise.
