April 15, Assassin's Hideout, New York.
"Jay get to school."
"Robin it's Leo's birthday I can't, not until I finish making jello."
"Why?"
"Because he's only seen it in the little containers, I want to confuse him."
"You just think he looks cute when he's confused," called Zo.
My face turned red, "No."
"Fine finish the jello."
I hugged Robin, "Thanks."
"Don't be late."
"I won't, you have my word."
Robin nodded and left so that I could continue making jello and fifteen minutes later I walked into Leo's room.
"Hey Leo," I said receiving a wave as he continued working on his commission from Adewale, "Look."
"What is it Jay," he said turning around.
"Jello, outside of a container."
He poked it with a spoon, "It's purple," he said frowning, "Why is it purple?"
"Cause that's the color I made it in."
"That's not jello," he started to turn around.
"Leo just fucking eat it," I said annoyed.
"Okay, fine," he picked some up in the spoon, and calmly he said, "What the fuck are those," he had a confused expression on his face.
"Jelly beans," I smiled, "They're a type of candy."
"You're weird," he shook his head.
"I'm also really late for school," I said, "See ya Leo," I turned around catching the smile on his face before I left for class.
