Raspberries are Golden, so Bananas are Red
Naruto went to the farmer's market that afternoon to get Kiba some raspberries and bananas for their brunch. When he came back, Kiba nearly threw the bacon out of the skillet.
"What the hell?! Naruto, those aren't raspberries and bananas!" he fussed, confused about the fruits on the table. "Raspberries are red and bananas are yellow. You bought franken-fruit!"
"These are golden raspberries and dacca bananas. They were a little pricey, but I couldn't resist!" Naruto pouted. "At least try them before you complain, Kiba. I got them 'cause I thought they'd put a smile on your face…"
Kiba scooped the eggs on the plate and gave Naruto a kiss on the cheek. "Okay, I'll try them. Let's start cutting then, shall we?"
They unpeeled the red bananas, which turned out to look like typical yellow ones on the inside, and stirred them into some oatmeal. They crushed a bit of the raspberries and smeared it over toast with cream cheese spread. When he took in the first bite, Kiba's eyes instantly lit up.
"Do you like it, Kiba?"
Kiba was too busy stuffing his cheeks (in the politest way he could while still satisfying his taste buds) to answer Naruto. In the meantime, after he tore through the bacon, eggs, and toast, he managed to chew enough to ask, "You got anymore of those bananas?"
