Gilbert stood outside of Alfred's front door. He was unsure. He had harbored a crush on the American for a long time. He wanted to confess but he unsure. What if he rejected the awesome him? He was awesome! Why would the hamburger loving American hero reject him? But what if he loved the English gentleman Arthur? No he had to find out. He tightened his grip on the bouquet of flowers he was holding. He knocked on the door. He stood confidently.
Footsteps approached towards the door. A sandy blonde opened the door and grinned.
"Oh hey dude! What brings you here?" Alfred looked at the bouquet of flowers in Gilbert's hand.
Gilbert looked away blushing and handed Alfred the flowers. Alfred took them and studied them. He blushed and looked at Gilbert.
"uh..dude what this?" Alfred asked
"their for you." Gilbert answered
"oh...uh thanks." Alfred blushed a bit more
"Alfred can I tell you something?"
"Sure."
"I-I love you. I have for a long time now."
"M-me too. I just never thought you did too." Alfred blushed furiously
Gilbert stared into his eyes lovingly. He then gently placed a kiss on the American's lips. Alfred kissed back. Gilbert broke the kiss moments later.
"Ich liebe dich." Gilbert hugged Alfred. Alfred hugged back. "I love you too."
That was how a beautiful relationship started.
