The Earth
Bare feet, on wet grass,
Blowing winds, with time to pass,
I stand over the stones, and flower falls,
Landing on your grave
We are on circle, one life,
What we are shaped by, we enter with death,
But we are not forgotten, not at all,
We simply leave, and more leaves fall
The power of life we cling to,
The hope of no death, we ask for,
But we know it comes, on silent wings,
We morn, we pray, and we live once more
Take me to the Earth,
Beneath the grass so green,
Take me to the Earth,
Let me be me,
And life live through me
Bare feet, on wet grass,
Blowing winds, with time to pass,
I stand over the stones, and flower falls,
Landing on your grave
We are on circle, one life,
What we are shaped by, we enter with death,
But we are not forgotten, not at all,
We simply leave, and more leaves fall
The power of life we cling to,
The hope of no death, we ask for,
But we know it comes, on silent wings,
We morn, we pray, and we live once more
Take me to the Earth,
Beneath the grass so green,
Take me to the Earth,
Let me be me,
And life live through me
