There you stand, destroyer of nearly everything good in my life, destroyer of anything you see fit to try and hold. You have come back, thinking that you can just destroy everything and get what you want, and that I will not or can not stop you. You think that no one can stop you.

You are wrong.

You think me only withered flower and lost, a weak thing to be cast aside. You have never seen my strength, never bothered to so much as look at me, and you do not know me. You see only shadow and weakling, a satellite that has lost her sun, and you think that without Nagato, I am nothing.

But I am much more than that.

I can stand against you, and though I may not defeat you today as rain pounds on our shoulders, I will push your tide back, chase you away, and expose you as the thief that you are, thief of light and life. I will push apart a sea of paper, and sweep you away like grime off of a window, to let the light into the room once more.

I will banish you, Master of Ill Memory, and make it so that you never again haunt the streets of Amegakure. I will bring light to your darkness.

You will not be allowed to leave with that you wish to steal. You will not have the Rinnegan; you will not desecrate Nagato's body to harvest his eyes. You will not decimate this city to get to his gravesite. And I will not tell you where to find his remains.

I am the blooming flower, that never dies. My cycles come and go with the moon, and my resolve against you will never die. I hold hope in my hands.

The only way you will leave Amegakure is over my dead body.

You look at me, and laugh. You think me weak.

"I think you forget, Konan. Paper dissolves in water. All your strength is being washed away with the rain."

But you forget.

Paper draws blood.

And I will have yours today.
