It was a beautiful morning in the Dragons Edge. Then all of a sudden "Fire!" Shouted a man in a distance. Everyone woke up thinking but was a dragon hunter attack. When they went to investigate the strange noise they found something that was really weird. They saw Hiccup with Toothless and Hiccup looked like he just pulled like 17 all nighters. Then they all saw scorch marks on the ground and trees. There were also slash marks from a sword on the trees. Then they connected he dots that Hiccup was training and running himself into the ground. He also looked very sleep deprived. They decided not to think much of it then it just continued to the point were Hiccup was physically draining himself of energy. Then one day it just stopped. No more shouting. No more sound of swords connecting with trees. They all went to Hiccup hut and he wasn't there. Then they walked out to the spot and what they saw was kind of horrifying. They saw men and a lot at least two dozen maybe even more. Dead men on the ground, and in the middle of the mm was none other than Hiccup himself. With blood on his cloths and sword. There was also blood on his face and it made him look evil. At this point they all knew something was wrong. The thing was. There wasn't seven steps in hell as to what it was. Then they all went to search Hiccups hut while he was training in the woods. Like that he needed to be training I mean come on you took down two dozen men and your still training. What they found was kind of scary. It was like the Hiccup they all knew was just some act. They searched his desk and they found a single not written on the note was

YOU WILL NEVER BE ANYTHING YU ARE JUST A USELESS LITYEL RUNT. HELL I COULDN'T EVEN KILL MYSELF RIGHT. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER

The scary thing was. It was in Hiccups hand writing. Then they all heard his door open."WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN HERE" yelled Hiccup. His voice wasn't normal. It was hoarse and cracky. "I don't remember inviting you all in here. So unless you all want want to be dead in the next ten seconds. I suggest you leave. NOW."

"Hiccup what's wrong" said Astrid

"What do you you mean by what's wrong nothing is wrong in fact things are much better than they were." said Hiccup.

"Things are not fine you've been training so much that you spend all your time sleeping. Then you also decide to kill two dozen people! Hiccup things are not fine! Please tell us what's wrong." Astrid pleaded.

"You really don't know do you. Well if you must know this is the real me. There was never any good Hiccup there was fake good Hiccup, but never a truly good Hiccup" said Hiccup

"What! That's not possible so all of his was just a trick a lie." Astrid said tears starting to roll down her cheeks while the other just stood there in utter shock.

"All you saw was the real side of me a side that is not good. A side that is explosive and will kill on sight if need be. Yes it was all a lie I wanted to see your faves once you found out. Now the deed is done. I will be leaving. Forever. Goodbye" said Hiccup as he grabbed a bag by the door and flew away on Toothless. Astrid instantly broke down crying and ran to her hut and locked the door. Nothing has ever been the same since that day. The more shocking new was that Astrid couldn't handle it and decided to end her life.

A/N this was really dark I don't know where I got the idea it just kind of came to me hope you enjoyed this really short story.
