The Obvious Hiccup
One sunny day at Hogwarts Hermione and her two best friends, Harry and Ron, were out by the Black Lake studying for a herbology test. That's when Ron hiccupped. Once, twice, a third time. It was starting to make Hermione concerned, so she said, "Ron, you're hiccupping like mad!"
"Obviously," Ron said between hiccups.
"Well, do you need to get a drink of water?" She asked.
"No, no. I'm fine, I'm sure it will pass eventually." He said.
"If you say so, Ron…" Hermione replied. So the three went back to their studying for the upcoming test, Ron still hiccupping.
Ron hiccupped throughout the whole day. Even after getting multiple drinks of water it didn't stop. All the teachers told him to make it stop, and some even put silencing spells on him. Everybody stared at him in the hallways, and people asked him if he was okay.
The hiccups finally stopped at dinner, after Ron downed three cups of pumpkin juice in a row, barley pausing to breathe.
"Well, that's a relief" Hermione said.
"Yeah." Ron agreed. That's when Hermione noticed how strange it was that Harry hadn't said a word about Ron's hiccupping. Surely he would've been annoyed.
"Harry?" she asked, "Weren't you annoyed by Ron hiccupping all day at all?"
He got a look on his face and said, "Ron wasn't hiccupping." Then Hermione and Ron got up and left the room, leaving Harry alone and confused.
AN- so review and tell me what you think!
