Flash light

Jason, Pythagoras and Hercules were in the woods hunting. Before they knew it, it was dark and Hercules took them though a short cut and now they were lost.

Pythagoras trip over a tree root for the fifth time "I think we should stop, and rest for the night" he said as Jason help him back up to his feet.

"Why?" asked Hercules "We're not lost or anything, come on this way" Hercules walked a head humming to himself.

"I hate sometimes" said Pythagoras "I can hardly see a thing"

"We when a flash light or something" said Jason without thinking

"What used is it to have a flash of light?" asked Pythagoras "If it only an flash we only see were we are going for an split second"

"I didn't..." began Jason "It's... hard to explain" Jason paused "Were I'm from flash light is another name for a torch that we have, only this torch doesn't have fire"

"Then how dose it work?" asked Pythagoras

"Some magic" said Jason he didn't want to explain all about electricity "I don't really understand it, but most people have a torch in case of moment just like this."

"Why did you take one with you when you come here?" asked Hercules "Or money or something else useful?"

"I didn't plan on coming here" said Jason "It's just were I ended up, anyway a torch is nowhere near as useful as an mobile phone"

"What's a mobile phone?" asked Pythagoras

"Doesn't matter it wouldn't work here anyway" said Jason "It another magic thing"

Pythagoras and Hercules looked confused "Jason you're not a wizard are you?" asked Hercules

"No way" said Jason "I'm hardly Harry Potter"

"Who on earth is Harry Potter?" asked Hercules "And may I add that's an stupid name much like your I mean come on who would called their kid Jason"

Jason rolled his eyes "Harry Potter is a story about a wizard, it's a big thing were I am from"

"So you don't know any magic" said Pythagoras

"No" said Jason "I can't do magic or anything like that"

"But people were you are from used enchanted objects all the time" said Hercules

Jason wished he never stared this whole thing "Well some use them more than others. It everywhere... part of out daily life"

"Do you miss it?" asked Pythagoras

Jason paused to think about it "No as much as I though I would" he said "but I never really fitted in there anyway"

"Sounds very strange the land you're from" said Hercules

Jason thought about it "Well people there would think here is very strange, I still do in a way, some of your customs and vales I do not understand at all. It's an lot different from what I was use too"

They all walked in silent for a moment "Hey" said Pythagoras "The trees are thinning out more. We must be coming to the edge of the woods now"

They keep walking till they got to the edge of the woods and they could just make out the city walls "See told you wasn't lost"

For once Pythagoras and Jason didn't say anything all they wanted was some food in their bellies and a long sleep. After getting back home they all sat down with a cup of ale.

"Jason are you planning on going back to were you come from?" asked Pythagoras "Don't that I want you to leave or anything... just wonder"

"No" said Jason "I meant to be here, I don't why... not just yet I have to work that out"

"With out magic" added Hercules

"Yeh with out magic" agree Jason
