She was a five foot formal detective dressed in men's clothing whose name was famous for its weight as the "Detective Prince". He was a six foot tough talking delinquent with a feminine side whose name was unanimous with "TROUBLE".
She was logical. He was illogical. She required explanations and ruminations. He needed only his gut instincts. She spent hours "cogitating". He spent seconds acting.
So as she thought and thought about it, debating on whether to act, trying to come up with some explanation for her feelings. He just bent down and kissed her.
Maybe, she decided, logic and explanations weren't needed at times like these.
