Germany was just about to start a lunch of spätzle and a sausage, when he heard a loud yell from his brothers room. Sighing and placing the plate on the small table in front of him, he walked over to his brothers door and slowly opened it. "Prussia, what are you screaming abo... huh?" His brother was plastered against the wall, looking as though there was a deadly lion roaring in his face. "DON'T COME ANY CLOSER WEST!" He said loudly, throwing up a hand. "T-THERES A MONSTER IN THE ROOM!" Germany sighed and places a hand against his face, pinching his nose. "Fine then" he said sharply "Where is this 'monster'?" Prussia slowly moved his hand, pointing to the dead center of his hardwood floor… and there sat a spider.

Germany stared at it, it had eight long legs that held its tiny body in the air. It was small enough to have fit in the palm of his hand. He sighed and stepped fully into the room, closing the door behind him. "Prussia, aren't you a little old for this?" he bent down and picked up the tiny thing by the leg. It hung upside down for a few seconds, before wiggling around and climbing onto the back of his hand, where it sat contentedly. He poked it and it wavered around, raising a leg to touch his finger.

Prussia screamed. It was a high-pitched girly scream that he would later never admit to ever having uttered. "GOOD GOD WEST, PUT THAT THING DOWN!" he pushed himself closer to the wall. Germany poked the harmless spider into his palm. "Prussia, it's a Daddy Long Legs, their totally harmless, see?" He walked closer and attempted to show his brother. Prussia jumped out of the way and plastered himself against another wall. "GET THAT FREAKY THING AWAY FROM ME!" He screamed once again.

"Prussia" Germany started "They don't have teeth, c'mon, I'll show you" He took a step forward and Gilbert bolted, smashing himself against the wall. "I DON'T WANT TO, THOSE THINGS ARE DAMN SCARY!" Germany sighed. "Fine, you big baby." He walked over to the window and opened it, gently pushing the spider out of his hand. "See ya little guy." He whispered softly, before closing the window. "There, it's gone. You can stop being stupid now." Prussia gave a big sigh of relief and clutched his heart. "Now that that's taken care of, get out of my room." He jumped back onto his bed and grabbed his laptop, once again typing away. Germany sighed, "Thank you would have been fine." He walked out of the room, closing the door behind him and grabbed his food. He picked up the sausage that sat on top and gave it a bite.

"…It's gone cold."
