Pitch Black Ice

"Sapphire…" the voice bounced off the walls of her room. She turned her chair and looked around the room. Only silence. Suddenly, her chair rolled across the room. "Raven." Sapphire said. At the mention of her name, Raven appeared. First, black sand swirled around and Raven's body began to take shape, her flowing black cape, her curvy form, her black hair. Then, Raven was standing before Sapphire. "What do you want?" Sapphire asked, trying to master a brave voice. "I want you to stop pushing me to the side, I know you're afraid," Raven said, her voice icy. "You can't hide fear forever." She said, twisting her hand so the arms of Sapphire's chair wrapped around her. "Leave me alone." Sapphire said, struggling to get out of her chair. "Sapphire, you are just like you mother," Raven said, disappearing in a cloud of black sand. Her voice continued; "But, you're not as strong as her…" Raven's cold laughter surrounded her. "Leave my mother out of it!" Sapphire snapped, sending an icy burst hurtling at Raven. Raven dodged by becoming a cloud of sand yet again. "Yes, unfortunate Elsa." Raven appeared again behind Sapphire, "Raven, leave me alone!" Sapphire cried, her voice melting into desperation and fear. Raven had a triumphant expression. "Until next time," Raven said, walking away, stroking Sapphire's platinum hair as she did. Sapphire shivered. "Until next time…." Raven's voice trailed off. Sapphire's chair released her and she slumped to the ground. Tears streamed from her eyes and froze on her cold porcelain skin. "Pitch Black, I will get my revenge." She said, looking up to the portrait of her mother, Elsa. "Mom, I will find you." She vowed. "I will."

"CRASH," Another icy blast hit the darkness and shattered. "Come on. Come on!" Elsa thought. Pitch Black had imprisoned her a few months after Sapphire was born. Elsa shot another blast of ice into the darkness. She tripped over the chains that were cuffed around her wrists. She tugged on them. Then, a cruel, mocking voice rolled around the room.

"Oh, my little queen, why are you so afraid?" Elsa ignored him and shot an icicle in the direction the voice came from. Silently, Pitch had appeared behind her. He grabbed her hair and pulled her to the ground, and then he disappeared.

"Elsa," He appeared in front of her. She sat up.

"Don't fight me." He laughed cruelly.

"I have a daughter, she needs me." Elsa protested.

"I have a daughter as well." He said. Raven appeared.

"Why, hello Elsa," She said, her voice sickeningly sweet.

"Raven," Pitch said, stroking her ebony hair.

"Elsa, she watches over your daughter." Pitch reminded her. She glared at them both.

"She is trying to gain power from my daughter," Elsa said, secretly trying to freeze the chain off her wrist. It fell with a "clang!" Pitch swung his arm and another cuff immediately replaced the other one.

"What do you want?" Elsa asked, tears sliding down and immediately freezing on her face.

"Don't worry, my little queen," Pitch said. "We just need to keep you here 'till your lover boy, Jack Frost comes." He added. Raven chuckled.

"Jack won't fall for it." Elsa protested.

"Okay, what ever you say, snowflake." Raven then disappeared with Pitch, leaving Elsa alone in the darkness.
