The e-mail tab in her Laptop showed a new message. Mexico was still waiting for that stupid letter from her government to make her know the new prices in food and stuff that were previos announced to be raised next year.
She promised her brothers to be in the New Year's party. Argentina has been texting her since two hours ago and her ringtone was breaking her nerves out.
She let out a relief sigh and cheked her e-mail.
"From: Alfred F. Jones"
She almost threw her computer out of the window. Why the gringo?! She only wanted that goddamn letter to meet with her brothers!
Mexico tried to calm down and with a "Stupid Peña Nieto" opened the e-mail. It had a video.
"Don't delete it, please! I swear it's not a stupid thing of mine" was the only thing wrote down the archive. Mexico laughed. Well, at least he knew exactly what she could do.
She downloaded it and it automatically started playing at the end of the download. There was Alfred in the Windows Media Player with his usual goofy grin and playing with his fingers.
"What's up Itzy! Hope you're fine honey! Well, ya know…I'm busy at the moment 'cause my government is such a mess…ok, yours too, but at least they let you rest today. What I wanted to say is, maybe I won't see you today and give you a New Year hug… I'd be glad if it were a kiss because I've always wanted one and you reject me every time!" he pouted making a childish face "I always go out of the topic haha! I'm sorry! I just wanted you to know I'd like to be there but I can't. So, I'm sending this video to tell you that I wish you a happy new year, that I'm glad to have spent this year with you speaking, laughing, fighting, even having hard moments. We always have them! But you're almost as strong as me ¡The hero! and you can defeat all the problems. I've been always there with you…really, I can't move my country anywhere.

America felt the vibration of his cellphone and took it out to check the screen, showing a new e-mail. A reply from Mexico. Another video. But it was just 10 seconds long.
He raised an eyebrow and opened it putting his earphones on.
She was there dressed all beautiful with her rascal smile of hers and blushing a little "Happy New Year damn cute gringo. Here's your kiss" she said placing a kiss on the webcam and the screen went black.
