I was just thinking that Zach is by far my fav squint and I thought he needed a bit more fun in his life.

Zach Addy woke to hodgins' pounding on his door. He craned his neck to see his alarm clock an saw that the time was a quarter past seven in the morning. He had slept in.

Zach moaned.

He got up and pulled on a pair of track pants and his dressing gown. He tussled his hair and slipped into his slippers. He rubbed his eyes and grabbed a few tissues scrunching them up and putting them into his pocket. He then wrapped himself in his duvet and proceeded to the front door of his apartment.

He opened the door to reveal hodgins behind it.

"I'm not feeling great hodgins I might skip…" Zach faked a sneeze into a tissue. " Work today" he said in his best nasally voice.

"Ok zacko," said hodgins. "Get better see you tomorrow buddy."

Zach closed the door and walked back to his bedroom. After removing his dressing gown and track pants he snuggled back next to the sleeping form in his bed.

"don't you have work?" asked Alycia.

"sick day." Mumbled zach, quite proud that he successfully fooled hodgins.

Medico-legal lab, the jeffersonion institute

Hodgins walked in quickly harassed by Brennan, as Zach was absent.

"Sick day," he said, smirking.

He kissed Angela on the cheek and whispered, "more like strenuous exercise."

"our Zach! No way! Good on him. I always thought he needed a girlfriend." came her reply.
