This is a oneshot for the random pairing challenge, I had to do Sirius Black and Andromea Black, my prompt was "Andromea knows being cut of from family is hard but thinks Sirius is acting immature about it"

Andromeda looked off into the distance; it had been weeks now since Ted had promised to return with Nymphadora and her new husband. She had been cooped up in the dingy little house that had been handed down through her family for so long, she of course had been a disgrace from her family's pure blood obsession, as she had gone and married a muggle man, Ted Tonks, but to be rather plain, she could not be happier! However Sirius, her cousin whom she had been kept in Grimmauld Place with was taking this new exile rather harsh.

It had of course been years since Mr. and Mrs. Black had died, but the feeling of utter disgrace and rejection when he had seen his parent's reaction to him being in Gryffindor and disgracing their family still haunted him. In fact he had even been blown off the family tree in his parents room, as had Andromeda. He had only just realised how much this had hurt him when he was removing the boggart from his mother's cupboard.

His new found depression and sorrow had annoyed Andromeda even more, where was the young happy Sirius she had once known, she had been almost excited to have been in his company for 3 weeks, however this whole time he just sat around looking at his old bedroom, it did not help that he had moved out of home when he was merely 16 and gone and lived with James Potter (who had died some 25 years ago).

Finally, when Andromeda thought his constant moping must be stopped she cornered him,
"Sirius", she said in a tone which could be either sadness or anger.
"Yes, Andromeda?" he said in a quizzical tone, almost a bit condescending to be truthful.
"Look," she said, not wanting to be too harsh, "I know your upset that you were disgraced, I know your upset you have been cut off with our family, but the way your handling it is ridiculous, your being immature Sirius, I know you are upset and things have been tough but we have to get through it, Ted and Nymphadora will be coming soon, then you can see Harry in the meantime-"
She was cut off by Sirius
"What, what… I'M NOT THE ONE WHO WAS CRYING WHEN HER MOTHER DISOWNED HER BECAUSE SHE WASN'T A DEATH EATER LIKE LOVELY BEALLTRIX AND NARCISSA, IM NOT THE ONE WHO MARRIED A MUGGLE AND BRANG HER FAMILY TO SHAME!" he bellowed his words in pronounced fury.
Andromeda was hurt by this she must admit, but she didn't let it get to her.
"What would Harry think if he saw you like this, huh? He thinks you're incredible, brave and caring. What would he think if he saw you behaving this bad?"
Sirius stopped, he had been caught out. He was upset but he had to pull through and see Harry, he did not want Harry to think his Father had befriended a rude, sulky, remorseful coward.
"Look Andromeda I'm sorry I didn't mean any of that before. I don't know what came over me I'm so sorry. I just- I just thought I c-couldn't d-d-do it anymore." He put his head in his hands and stammered with his last words, and fought back the urge to cry.
Andromeda walked over to him and put her arm around his shoulder they sat there for a while Sirius pulling himself together.
"Sirius! Look its Ted and Dora!"
He looked up his face full of happiness; he was going to see his godson Harry Potter again.
