A/N- YES, I AM STILL AT CAMP, YET I CAN UPDATE! Er. Have fun, muah.
She looked on, out past the bloodied grass, pass the still bodies, and to the stormy lake that was chaotic with the squid's frantic movements.
They all seemed dead. Every one of the Order members, all of the people on the good side. The only good thing was that all of the Death Eaters were dead, too, but that wasn't exactly comforting.
Her leg was broken, and her left wrist was sprained. When Harry and Voldemort were fighting... Something happened. Something huge, big. It made a shield around the two of them, knocking back anyone within a certain distance with a very hard impact.
She, unfortunately, was one of the people that were very close to the shield when it popped up. She had been smashed back into a crowd of people, who later on, died anyways.
After Harry, or Voldemort, or one of those idiots did a spell, the people who weren't dead and had crowded towards the pair for back-up had died, because of the impact of yet another spell.
Too many spells and too many impacts that day. Too many lives lost, but wait, there were students still in the castle. Perhaps she could call for help...
No. There was absolutely no chance. She was too far... Near the Quidditch field, in fact. There would be no chance in hell that someone would hear her, even with her large and projecting voice.
Perhaps if she waited a bit. There was no doubt that people would be wondering who won, and in no time at all, brave volunteers and would be reinforcements would show up and see the mass death. They would find her, and they'd find her pulse, and she'd find...
...She'd find everyone else dead because of their bad luck, or bravery. She'd find her entire family obliterated. She'd discover that her friends had probably given their lives to save someone, only to have another person turn on them anyway.
She'd find herself in a living nightmare.
She isn't too sure that she wants to be alive right now. Who was there to live for now? There wasn't anyone that was alive that she really cared about, and those who were alive didn't care for her the way that they did...
Life pretty much sucks right now. She stares out, not even really using her eyes anymore, but really using her mind.
She sees all of them. Neville, Luna, Colin, and herself. They were having so much fun that day… Even if Neville was slightly older than her, and Luna and Colin were so odd all of the time, she had fun with them, because they were her friends.
Friends. She doubted that any of her friends survived, not even her not-really friends. Those three. They were so… exuberant, so happy. It was their last night at Hogwarts, the night before graduation. She watched them in jealousy, until the wards fell and the alarms went off.
Wrong. It was all so wrong. They were all too young and they all had so much life left in them. It was just so unfair.
She sighed. Perhaps the rescuers would find her alive before she died.
