She loved him. She knew she did, but he didn't.
He loved her. He knew he did, but she didn't.
The thing with love is you never know where it's going to take you.
I love you
even though I know All night I hold you
in my arms Alone I find within my heart
You show no love for me.
Your eyes are icy
springs that feed
My hidden ecstasy.
And sleep in your embrace.
All day I turn away from
life
To gaze upon your face.
A
black and raging sea,
For only you, beloved one,
Can calm my
Galilee.
Yours until the end, Ginevra Weasley
Ginny sighed as she signed the letter. She wrote the address, gave it to the owl, and watched to fly in to the distance.
He read the poem, a small smile playing on his lips. There was justice in the world.
I used to
be completely cruel and heartless, I used to think the goal of life was
pleasure: And so, with just the slightest twinge of
conscience, We
make our worlds, like God, in our own image: And then I fell in love
with you, and somehow And like a wind I swept across
the ocean, All that I had thought was proven wrong, And if I
could so love, I could be loved, All this I tell you
that I might be known,
Using girls, then tossing them
aside.
I used to feel an angry, bitter hunger,
Not knowing why,
nor looking much inside.
My own, of course, whatever that might take.
A
woman's feelings had to be her problem.
Self-sacrifice was always
a mistake.
I hunted for my lonely ecstasy;
And even when I
wanted a companion,
The only one I cared about was me.
Mine was a metropolis
of stone
In which all souls were either fools or cynics,
Doomed
to take their pleasure on their own.
Your happiness meant more to me than
mine.
The desert became green and lush with flowers,
And like a
sun, my heart began to shine.
And like a star exploded into night,
And like a song
I held love in my hands,
And like an angel knew that this was
right.
All the
lies to justify my greed.
To love was to embrace the pith of
life,
To feel a joy far stronger than a need.
Could think someone might want me
and believe it,
Could let another know me without shame,
Could
give my self and know I could retrieve it.
That all of me no longer be alone;
And
if you do not love the one I am,
So be it. I will weep, but
understand.
Yours now, forever and always Draco Malfoy.
And so their story begins.
A/N: I know I made this seem like I am going to carry this on but I'm not, if anyone would like to let me know and I'll post a notice on my profile page letting everyone know where they can find the continuation x
