Prologue

We were like the perfect storm, us two. Clashing, smashing together until there's nothing left. Two hurricanes, joining forces in the middle of the ocean, for no other reason other than to try to destroy the other. We cause people to board up their windows, clean up their lawn, gossip and fret about how bad the storm will be this time. We cause people to rush inside, find their children and pets. We cause people to hope and pray this time won't be as bad as the last, hope and pray that the damage won't be too great. When we hit, it's chaos and madness and destruction and fury that everyone witnesses but there is nothing anybody can do to stop it. It's a force of nature that is so big and so great, a nuclear explosion leaving nothing but ash and despair. We cause terror and strike fear in the hearts of everybody around, leaving nothing but fear itself. We're two catastrophes, colliding into each other in an overwhelming cataclysm of destruction and tragedy. We shatter windows, cause trees to fall, blow away lawn gnomes and flags. We tear away shingles, rip off shutters, destroy flower beds and crops. We ripple through the town as fast as lighting, at a speed everybody can see but nobody can feel except for us. The eye of the storm hits, and everybody is relieved and overjoyed and celebrating, it's finally over. Nobody knows there is always the second part of the storm. Nobody knows there is always more to come.

A/N: HIII. This is my first story, so please be nice. This is just the prologue! This is in no way, shape, or form how short the chapters are going to be. This is just the short little prologue I wrote up real quick. Please review, it would mean a lot. Thank you!
