Infinite Corridor
By SMYGO4EVA

Wielding items of power doesn't replace what a soul is to the seven individuals who hold them. Even if the mightiest one can grant immeasurable power to one soul, the corridor is still left closed. Eyes are empty now, shells of humans lie dormant in certain halls of time, and the use of emotion and thought would only be futile in dire conflicts. One would only know what hey had to do, and nothing else mattered then or ever again. The insight of the past, present and future would be seen and be of use for a short while, a matter of time before destiny takes place.

One who has treaded the past many times, doomed to stand by one's mistakes and take them as their own, having the cross to bear in shapes and forms. He by the name of Shadi walks alone, in solitude and bearing either great news of fortune or bearing a scale against one who has sinned. He has seen all that has occurred, only to see it play out once again when the Gods looked down upon the once holy kingdom and condemned the king and his people. He still walks now, but as a ghost that will cross the mists of time that he is condemned to protect.

One sees the images of the future in her mind, almost condemned to foretell the dark fates and grand victories of duelists who have marked themselves in the corridors. Sometimes she will turn away from the vision, seeing it as nothing that will be changed, a permanent piece of glass that will never be broken. In rare times, she has seen what has played on its own, the knowledge of wisdom and grace being so kind to the keys in providence and fate. Needless to say, events have been predetermined and accordingly been projected in the timeline. It is also useless to escape her very fate; the Gods can be so unkind.

No gods or insight can truly prevent what they can't predict, whether they tread the Earth for all eternity or they have the eyes of the future, but the mists in the infinite corridor flow steadily, forever.
