I'm Right Here Yacker.
Eddie POV.
It was a normal Saturday. Me and Yacker just hung out all day. At about 7:00 she went grocery shopping with her mom. On the weekends you can go home and stay home overnight and after a long talk with her mom I was able to stay over at her house. When we got back from the store and unloaded all the groceries Patricia didn't look good at all.
"I'm really really nauseous babe." She said putting her head down on the dinning room table. I rubbed the back of her neck.
"It's ok Yacker. It's ok."
"Trix, can you help me take some stuff back to my room?" Her mom called. She picked her head up and I could see it in her eyes she didn't want to move. I saw her swallow hard.
"Yeah mom. Coming." She slowly got up. I watched her walk into her moms room and then run out into the bathroom. I ran after her. When I got to the bathroom she was sitting on the bath tub barfing.
"Baby. Awe. Babe." I said I ran to her side. I kneeled on the floor next to her and but my left hand on her back. Her mom came to the door way and helplessly watched her sick daughter.
"I don't know why that happened." Patricia said when she finally picked her head up and rested her head on my left shoulder.
"I don't think you have the flu. If you did you would be laying on the floor and you would be white and clamy." Her mom said.
"I'm gonna take a shower." Patricia said getting up. I left and went to wait in her room.
"Ha-cho." I heard from the bathroom. Then I heard it 11 more times.
"Damn what the hell?!" She said. She came out of the bathroom in a oversized gray hoodie, black yoga shorts, and tall black socks.
"Let me know if that happens again. Ill give you medicine." Her come called.
"Ugh." She said walking in and laying down.
"Oh. Fuck." She leaned her head over her bed a d threw up.
"Oh baby. " I said.
"It happened again." She called to her mother.
"Where are you?!" Her mother asked.
"My room."
"Go to the bathroom!"
She got up and ran and I was right by her side. I held her hair back and rubbed her back.
When she was done she fell back in my arms. I picked her up bridal style back to her bed. I laid her down, turned the light off, and gathered her in my arms. She laid on her left side with her back to me so I laid right behind her and held her close.
"Are you ok sweet girl?" I asked.
"Yeah. But Eddie?"
"Yeah."
"Don't leave me. Please." She said weakly.
"I'm right here Yacker. I'm right here. I'm not going anywhere."
She fell asleep but then a few hours later she woke up and had to throw up again. I was there holding her hair back and comforting her. She went back to sleep again in my arms and was fine until morning.
''I'm gonna get something to drink.'' She said weakly as she slowly got up.
''No. I'll get it. You lay back down.'' I told her. I went into the kitchen and got her a glass of ginger ale with ice and a straw.
''Drink this slowly.'' I told her. She nodded and took a couple of sips. I laid back down and held her tight in my arms.
'' Babe.'' she said as she leaned over the bed and it all came up again.
She went back to sleep again on my chest. Her mom came in.
''Hey, I have to go to work. Are you sure you want to take care of her?'' She asked trying to put in an earring.
''Yes I'm perfectly fine and I'll make sure she is too.'' I assured her.
I looked down at my weak sick girlfriend. I brushed her hair out of her face and stroked her cheek. She truly never did anything wrong and she seemed to always get the worst.
I felt her stir.
''You ok babe?'' I asked.
''Yeah. I'm just so tired.'' she said laying back down on my chest.
''Ok. Just go back to sleep. I'm right here Yacker. I'm not going anywhere. I love you.'' I said.
''I love you too weasel.''
