*When they finally land they head to their hotel and the kids are so jet lagged they fall straight asleep.*
"So what do you fancy doing?" Brendan says wandering around the room
Ste sprawls across the sofa. "relax"
"Budge up then and let me relax with you" he wriggles behind Ste and cuddles him. "I could stay like this forever"
"Me too. You're always so comfortably warm and you always make me feel so safe. Plus you smell sexy"
"Oh?"
Ste inhales appreciatively "yeah"
Brendan nuzzles into Ste's neck. "You smell pretty hot too"
Ste giggles "So it's agreed. We smell good"
Brendan makes a positive noise and nestles into Ste closer. He hugs him as if he can never bare to let him go. "Steven?"
"Yeah?"
"I just wanted to say…" Brendan started
"DADDY, LUCAS IS HOGGING THE BLANKET!" Leah calls through. There's a sudden thump and cry. "DAD LUCAS FELL OUT OF BED!"
"Ok sweetie, I'm on my way" Ste says getting up and going to them. He settles them down and reads them a story until they're both asleep again. He comes back in and slots himself back into Brendan's arms. "What were you gonna say?"
"I was gonna say… Steven… Will you marry me?"
"What?!" He says with disbelief in his voice
"Will you marry me Steven?"
Ste rolls over so he's facing Brendan and he flings his arms around his neck. "Of course I will!"
They fall asleep on the sofa and don't wake up until Leah comes in the living room and starts shaking Ste.
"Daddy, I want to watch Spongebob" She whispers
Ste rolls over and puts Spongebob on for her.
"Daddy?"
"Yeah?" Ste mumbles sleepily
"You know Daddy Brendan?"
"Of course"
"Will he always be our daddy too?"
"Yes, sweetheart."
"He loves us doesn't he?"
"More than anything"
"Does that mean I have two daddy's and a mummy then?"
"Yeah"
Leah smiles. "I love having two daddy's, Do you think he'll buy me a pony?"
"No Leah, you're not getting a pony"
"but why?" she whinges
"Too expensive. Now go back to watching Spongebob"
"I can't"
"Why not?"
"I'm too excited. Do you think Daddy Brendan will take us snorkelling today?"
"Maybe"
"Daddy Brendan said there might be sharks, I asked him, but he said he won't let them hurt me and then I said he's so big and strong he'd just punch any sharks if they came near us." Leah rambles
"He'll always be there to protect us" He feels Brendan's hug tighten for a second.
Leah sits there silently watching Spongebob and sucking her thumb.
Brendan wriggles and whispers. "Good morning Future Mr Brady!"
"Steven Brady has a nice ring to it doesn't it? Makes me sound tough."
Brendan laughs. "You might sound tough babe, but you certainly don't look it, but it doesn't matter coz I love your gorgeous scrawny body" he continues whispering and his breath tickles Ste's ears.
"You are.. Literally a life saver to me" Ste says, his voice hushed "My life has just been nothing but amazing since I met you."
"Come here ya soppy bugger" Brendan says pulling him for another hug.
