CHAPTER 1
Naruto and Gaara met at the age of seven, they quickly became friends. three years later Gaara dicides to head back to the Hidden Sand. While Naruto stays in Konoha. During the Sound\Sand v Leaf war they meet again. Will they choose sides or will they band together to stop the war from progressing any further? read and find out
"Alone. Why do I always feel so alone." say two young boys, in two different parts of the world.
'But your not alone' answers a voice.
"I know, but I still feel alone. Why is that?" both boy ask.
'Because they don't understand you. Nor do they want to. I alone understand you.' answered the voice again.
"No. No, your wrong. I won't always be lonely." both say
( voices are different for each boy. you'll understand later.)
A short while later, one of the boys. four year old Uzumaki Naruto had spiky blonde hair, whisker marks on his chekks and blue eyes. He was sitting under one of the oldest trees in Konoha. For as long as he could remember he could communicate with trees. Then he was jarred from his thoughts by a small explosion.
Lying there in the clearing smoke was a scroll. He got up and walked to the scroll. Nothing happened. So, he opened it. All he was able to read was that he was suppose to sign his name in blood, and leave a hand print the same way. Plus instructions.
He signed his name and left a hand print, then followed the instructions.

Slamming his hand on the ground and yelled,"Kuchiyosero jutsu!" Following this was an explosion louder than before, only this time out of the smoke came a small owl?
It spoke "-ean Manda is strange. I think she's been summo-" the owl noticed Naruto. "Oh, hello I'm Satori and you are?"
"Uzamaki Naruto. What just happened?" with a confused expression.
"You summoned me."
"But all I did was do what the scroll said."
"Now you can call on owls anytime, you can summon me if you want." answers Satori, with that he flew onto Naruto's shoulder and lightly gripped it with his talons. "I'll stay with you if you want."
"I'd like that." Afterword they slowly walked into Konoha talking.
Elsewhere the other boy, his name Gaara he had short red hair and rings around his eyes. He sat under a tree wondering why sand always gravitated around him. As he watched sand crush a passin squirrel, it sickened him every time. Even though he knew they felt no pain.
The reason he was in the forest was because his village had shuned him. His own father the Kazekage had sent professional assassins to kill him. The only reason he was still alive was becuase of brother and sister or the sand.
He had runaway. He could no longer cause such pain to the only people who cared for him. He also hardly slept, because very bad things happened when he slept.
He said this aloud has he stood up, "Someday I'll have friends, just like Temari and Kankuro. I may not know when, but I wil... Someday." He walks futher into the forest.
