"Spontaneous"

---

"You're so serious," these words dripped into her mind as if it were poison.

She couldn't stop thinking about it. She couldn't tell if it were a good thing or a bad thing, which most likely, it would be a bad thing. The lavender feline pondered. Is she really all that serious? Well, she admits she sort of is, maybe she should loosen up a bit. But how could she loosen up? She's a princess and the guardian of the Sol Emeralds.

It's her duty to protect those precious emeralds. Blaze gradually strolled around, thinking of ways to be less uptight. What should she do? She didn't know. Not a clue in mind. Blaze, the lavender kitty, sat down on a bench, pondering.

"You're so serious, hon," the same voice from the beginning of the story told the feline.

Blaze was a bit startled, but she didn't show it. Blaze then glared at the woman, who kept repeatedly telling her this. The woman who said this was a bat. She goes by the name of Rouge. She had dark blue makeup heavily put on, on her eyelids. Her lips were covered in lip gloss. A skin tight black jumpsuit was on her body. She had a pair of big bosoms, an hour glass figure, steel toed boots, a pair of dark wings, and very large bat ears. No doubt that she was beautiful to Blaze.

"You should be a bit more like me," Rouge said slyly, pacing around a bit, moving her hips in a seductive way.

Blaze glared at her with her feline eyes, ears pricked, "and how should I be like you?"

She asked dryly, not really caring what the beautiful bat had to say.

"By being spontaneous," was Rouge's reply.

Rouge stared down at the cat, lowering her eyelids.

"And how should I be spontaneous?" Blaze, again, asked dryly, no emotion in her voice.

"By doing something unpredictable, of course."

By doing something unpredictable, Blaze would have to act out-of-character. Being the serious type of character, this would be difficult for Blaze. She's so used to being serious, cold, almost uncaring, and strict that she forgot how to loosen up, dropping her guard.

"You need to enjoy life," Rouge continued, scanning her perfect manicure on her fingernails.

Blaze looked at the bat woman, rather darkly.

"I do enjoy life," she muttered, wishing Rouge would just butt out of her life and leave her alone, like she always is.

Suddenly, Blaze got an idea of being "spontaneous", but it would involve her swallowing her pride, and she has tons of pride. Maybe if she did this, Rouge would then leave her alone. Blaze smirked and looked at Rouge. Rouge raised her brow.

"What are you smirking at?" Rouge demanded, taking a step away from the feline.

"Nothing," Blaze muttered quite suspiciously, edging closer to Rouge.

Blaze kept getting closer and closer to Rouge until their faces were about an inch apart.

"What are you doing, Blaze?" Rouge asked, glaring at Blaze.

Blaze chuckled, daring to stare Rouge into her eyes. The lavender feline gradually was going to put her lips onto the bat's. Until she stopped and pulled away. She chuckled; Rouge was shocked.

"So...was that being spontaneous?" Blaze asked, grinning.

After awhile, Rouge answered, "no...you didn't actually kiss me. If you did, then yes, it would have been spontaneous then. So, you have failed."

Blaze rolled her eyes. Quickly and slyly, Rouge placed a kiss on Blaze's lips. It was now Blaze's turn to be shocked.

"H-hey!" Blaze shouted, her face turning red.

Rouge, now having her turn to laugh, chuckled and flew away, leaving the distressed kitty with weird feelings, and a reddening face.

The End!!!
