Hello readers! Welcome to my first fan fiction. Usually in the author's note I'll try to do a little interview with one of my characters, but right now, I don't have any! So for now, just enjoy the fan fiction!

Disclaimer: I don't own Pokémon. This is an original fan based parody. Please don't sue me Nintendo, as I have no money.

Pokémon: Sunset Orange

THUD!

I yelped as I rolled off of my bed onto the hard floor. I looked around my room. Computer? Check. T.V.? Check. Alarm clock reading 11:30? Check. Wait… 11:30? Oh no, I'm so late!

I hurried to throw on my jeans and light orange shirt as I dashed downstairs. On my way down I heard two female voices "Wonder if he's ever going to get up?"

The other laughed "Ha! If I know my son, he would never get up on his own."

Superb. I love it when people talk about me when I can't hear it. My foot hit the bottom floor and I froze in my tracks.

"P-Purple? W-What are you doing here?"

"Silly Orange. You know why I'm here. We're going on an adventure for crying out loud! And you made me wait! Never make a lady wait!" she shot back.

Me and Purple had been friends since we were both five years old, starting out at the local Pokémon school. That means we have known each other for what now? Ten years? Yes, that's right! Ten years! Wow. It's been a while.

My Mom interrupted "You two lovebirds better get going! You have to have a Pokémon to go on an adventure! You know the rules."

Purple and I both blushed a little. "Mom! You know that we are friends, and only friends!"

I started towards the door. "C'mon Purple. We'd better go before there aren't any Pokémon left for us!" She dashed after me and we went towards the Pokémon lab.

The sign outside of the lab read "Unity Region Pokémon Laboratory". Purple and I dashed into the lab and looked for the professor.

"Professor Maple! We need our Pokémon!" Purple shouted rather bluntly.

The one and only professor came out of a side room and assessed Purple and I.

"A little late, aren't we?" she asked the rhetorical question in that voice that just makes people feel ashamed of themselves.

"Professor, did we come in time to get Pokémon?" Purple asked hopefully.

"What do you think?" another rhetorical question.

"Great job Orange! Now we won't get Pokémon!" With that she slapped me upside the head.

"Ouch!" I recoiled at the pain. Wow, she could hit hard. "Not so fast, Purple." Said the professor "you might just get a Pokémon yet."

She pointed to two short figures pestering a scientist at a desk. "I've been trying to get rid of these two runts for quite some time, and you seem like the perfect people to take them off my hands." The professor said in a mischievous tone.

I responded with a question "What's so bad about them? They're just a couple Ralts."

"That is what is so bad about them. They've been using their psychic powers to wreak havoc in my lab! I want them out!" the professor returned them to a couple of poké balls and held them out.

"Take these pests! Please!"

Purple looked at me. "You can choose first." She offered.

I took the poké ball in the professor's right hand. Purple took the other. We thanked the professor and left the lab. I could feel that this was going to be an amazing adventure!
