My mask is so itchy right now, and these tights are making me sweat all around my legs. How does Bruce do it? Right now I just can't wait to go home. I feel as though I'm going to pass out. We just got back to the cave after another battle with Cadmus, two freakin' times in two freakin' hours. KF was the first to get off the ship. He really doesn't care if Batman interrogates him as long as he gets food.
"Ugh I'm so hungry", he proclaimed loud as we loaded off the ship. Batman went on and on about our mistakes. I just tuned him out cause I'd get another lecture on the way home. I started thinking about Gotham's Charity Ball coming up in a few weeks. I was thinking about taking my almost to be girlfriend Brittney. I started listening again after I started forgetting about the ball. "But out of all you've gotten finished faster than any team I've ever put together". I grinned. "You are all dismissed".
I went to my room and put on my civvies clothes. I felt so much better. I can't even wait to get home. Bapang. Beep. CHING. Who could be texting me at three in the morning. It was Mark. He would be the one up this late texting me.
Mark: Hey lil bro. Waitin for u 2 get bac hm. Hurry up.
I didn't feel like texting him back, so I packed my bag and went to the training room to leave. I pulled out my phone:
Me: I'm here.
I walked into the portal and walked into the Batcave ready to kiss the ground.
"Hey little bro", I heard Mark say walking my way. He ruffled my hair and put me into a bear hug.
